One of the UK's biggest current music magazines, KERRANG, is produced by Bauer Media. Bauer Media produces most of the big magazines around today, such as:
Bauer is not only big in the UK, but is also one of the largest magazine publishing houses in europe. Bauer is extremelt succesful as they offer magazines for near every genre. (e.g. gossip, news, movie, rock, punk rock, sport ect)
Time inc is one of the worlds largest magazine producers. It recently bought the company IPC Media and os contains a lot of UK and European brands under it's umbrella.
Nme, one of the companys largest and most well known magazine, is not only one of the worlds most succesful magazines but is also now Europes most succesful music website.
The fact that Time Inc. has so many magazines means they are catering for so many different people and have so many different genre of magazine so they at least have one magazine for each different person. This means that in the market they are top dog due to the amount of magazines. their only one main competitor would probably be Bauer.
